Fill out PDF online and
print
Interactive PDFs allow you to neatly fill
out forms that are in PDF format. After filling out a interactive
PDF, you may print your filled-in
form. The result is a form that is easy to read. You will need the
free Adobe Reader to view and fill out a PDF form. Click the "Get
Reader" icon below to download Adobe Reader.
How can you tell if the PDF is
interactive?
Text areas (within the CSU web) that can
be populated are designated by a pale yellow background color.

Another way to detect interactive
portions of a PDF is to move the mouse cursor over an area that
looks like it could be filled out. If the mouse pointer changes to a
text cursor, you are able to type information into the respective
field on the form.
You have two options when using an
interactive PDF:
-
Save the form to your hard drive or a
diskette so you can fill it out later.
Note: You cannot use File->Save
to save interactive PDF files. The information you fill out on the form
cannot be saved, only the blank form. Do not fill out the form until
you are able to print it right afterward.
-
Fill out the form and print.
-
After filling out a field, press the
[TAB] key on your keyboard to jump to the next field on the form
-
Type your information for that field,
and press [TAB] again to jump to the next field. This is the easiest
way to make sure you do not accidentally miss any of the fields
-
Print the filled-out form by clicking the
PRINT icon.
Remember: You cannot save your filled
out form on disk; Adobe Acrobat only saves the blank form.
