HONS 4001.Honors Thesis.
Course Description :Senior Standing .Member of CSU Honors Program. The thesis and oral defense are capstones of CSU Honors Program. Topics need to be approved within student’s major department prior to the student’s signing up for HONS 4001. An appropriately chosen college committee will hear the oral defense. Students should sign up for HONS 4001 the first semester of their senior year .(Catalog description of HONS 4001)

HONS 4002. Alternative to Honors Thesis.
Senior standing .Member of CSU Honors Program. Although the thesis and oral defense are capstones of the CSU Honors Program, an alternative, equivalent activity is allowable under special circumstances. CSU Honors Program Committee must approve alternative activity prior to a student signing up for HONS 4002. Department must also approve alternative activity.
